Single Side Laminator Tested and Found Compatible with the Xerox DocuColor 2000 Family
The manufacturer and distributor of roll and pouch laminators for commercial, home office and educational markets has received a Xerox validation on the company´s 520HP Foliant Series Laminator and Separator. Evaluated and tested as an off-line, single side laminator, the 520HP Foliant was found compatible with Xerox´s DocuColor 2000 family, which includes the DocuColor 2045 and 2060, as well as the DocuColor 12 and DocuColor 40.
The validation is being hailed as an important milestone for those seeking to laminate graphic output from digital color copiers/presses such as the DocuColor 2060.
Laminating output from digital color copiers/presses has in the past been difficult due to heavy toner coverage, the use of fuser oil, and short drying times due to print on demand requirements. With the advent of new films and new laminators such as the 520HP Foliant Series, output from these copiers and presses can now be successfully laminated.
We’re proud to have the only laminator currently validated by Xerox for their DocuColor products. We believe the Foliant will provide a perfect solution for those customers experiencing trouble laminating their color output in the past.
